{Wedding} Hayley & Robert | St Pierre Marriott Hotel & Country Club

I first met Hayley at a wedding fayre when she was planning her 2018 Oxwich Bay wedding to Robert. But a surprise pregnancy meant that they wanted to bring the wedding forward, leading to a last minute change of venue. I met with them and their beloved boxer dog Chad at their home around two months before their big day. At just three weeks before her due date, they were married at the beautiful St Pierre in Chepstow.

Despite it being a freezing cold January day, the sun shone brightly the entire time. Hayley and her bridesmaids excitedly got ready in one of the cottages whilst I stared in awe of the rings (hence the many, many shots!). It was an emotional service and there were lots of happy tears all round.

Just after the group formal photographs were taken, it was time to put Rob's mum's grand plan into action. Unfortunately the hotel wouldn't allow Chad to be part of the wedding, so she had thoughtfully arranged to have a friend bring him to the venue so they were able to see him and have some photographs of him. The look on their faces when they saw him was a picture (literally, see below) and they were just made up.

Remaining on a high for the rest of the day, the bride and groom mingled with their friends and families, gave hilarious speeches and danced the night away.
