This privacy policy sets out how I use and protect any data collected via my website www.lauragracephotography.co.uk

Laura Grace Photography fully supports the GDPR as well as the privacy rights of clients and users.  Please rest assured that any data you provide me will be treated sensitively. I promise NEVER to sell your data or pass to other parties who may wish to contact you.  I do not disclose data to any third parties unless it is necessary for the fulfilment of a service, or you have specifically given consent for a particular service.

Information Collected

The use of the internet pages of Laura Grace Photography's website is possible without any indication of personal data; however, if a data subject wants to use special services via my website, processing of personal data could become necessary.

 

Any information you enter on the website or provide in any other way, is received, collected and stored by either Laura grace Photography or by wix.com. Collected by Wix: Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history.  Debit/Credit card details will be used by Wix when making purchases on the online shop - Laura Grace Photography does not have access to these.  Software tools are used to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page and may be used by Laura Grace Photography. You will not be personally identifiable to this information.

Personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications), comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile will also be collected and used by Laura Grace Photography.  

Typical personal information that will be collected when filling in the contact form, subscribing to the newsletter or making contact via email includes your name and email address.

How Information is Used, Stored and Shared

Laura Grace Photography is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides me with the online platform that allows me to sell my products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

Your email address may be used to contact you regarding new products, special offers or other information which you may find interesting.  You may also be contacted for market research purposes to help improve the service.

Newsletter - Subscribers will receive approximately one email newsletter per calendar month.  Wedding clients will automatically be added to the subscribers list on confirmation of their wedding booking.  Any subscriber can opt out by clicking the unsubscribe button at the bottom of the email, or by requesting to be removed by emailing info@lauragracephotography.co.uk

YOUR DATA WILL NEVER BE SOLD TO ANY THIRD PARTY.  Clients may have their data shared with third party websites for the express purpose of allowing them to fulfil parts of our agreed contract.  These third parties include:

Pixieset - a gallery hosting website

Shootproof - contracts, invoices and galleries

Queensberry - Album Supplier

Sim Imaging - Prints, folio and album supplier

Backblaze - encrypted online cloud storage 

The data provided may include names, email address, wedding date, postal address and photographic images.  You will not be contacted by these third party suppliers.

Clients will also have their names and images published on my blog www.lauragracephotography.co.uk/blog unless online image use is declined in advance of the shoot.  


When making a purchase through my online store, ll direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by my store and its service providers.  You may be contacted you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail.

Your data will always be handled in line with GDPR.

Keeping Your Data Safe

I am committed to making sure your data is handled sensitively and stored safely.  Your data will be securely safeguarded using password protection to prevent unauthorised access.

Social Media

Any interaction with Laura Grace Photography on any social media (including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest) are subject to the same terms as this privacy policy, as well as the privacy policies held with each social media platform respectively.

By following any links to any sites not belonging to www.lauragracephotography, you acknowledge that Laura Grace Photography has no control over such sites.  Whilst I will always endeavour to ensure links are correct and to reputable service providers, please exercise caution as they will not be governed by this privacy statement.
