{Wedding} Amy & Robert, De Courcey's Manor

You know it's going to be an amazing day when the bride texts you a few days before asking if you like bacon sandwiches! The wedding did not disappoint and was one of my most enjoyable to date.

The ceremony and reception were all held in De Courcey's Manor, an amazing exclusive use venue in Pentyrch. With lots of break out rooms that people can use to relax, play games and have drinks, there is no other venue quite like it.

The families were already united as Rob & Amy had been together since they left school, so the focus of the day really was fun, enjoyment and celebration. With a literary theme to the reception, the new Mr & Mrs Bainton had made every effort to make their wedding a personal affair.

Second shot by my husband, Rick, the pair of us were made to feel so very welcome by everyone. The speeches were unforgettable, and because we'd got to know the couple so well, we couldn't help be moved by them too! There wasn't a dry eye in the room.

As the gloriously sunny day got later, we were reminded that it was in fact a winter wedding by the early arrival of darkness. This gave us a perfect opportunity to make use of the beautiful twinkly lights outside the venue. It was a wonderful day for a wonderful couple.

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Bainton! xx
