{Wedding} Charlotte & Aaron | Caerphilly Castle

Charlotte and Aaron were married at the start of August in the beautiful St Martin's church, followed by a stunning reception at Caerphilly Castle. The wedding had been perfectly planned and was a wonderful celebration of the love that these two lovely people share.

It was an early start, but when I arrived at Charlotte's parents house there was a calm atmosphere with everything going according to schedule. Bridal preparation is one of my favourite parts of the day, not least because I get to be really nosey and look at all the gorgeous details the brides have been planning. This wedding was no exception and I was very tempted to take off with Charlotte's gorgeous blue wedding shoes that had a personal message for Charlotte to read from Aaron. I soon became distracted by the flowers though - wow! They were so rich and vibrant, I was totally in love.

The church ceremony was beautiful and light hearted, it suited the couple perfectly. Afterwards, we headed to the Castle where it was clear how much attention to detail had been paid to this wedding. From the unique 'find your key' seating plan to the hand painted wedding cake, the guests' enjoyment was given top priority.

The rain decided to be a bit of a pain, but we still managed to get all the group shots done outside and took advantage of the gorgeous tower rooms for a bit of indoor photographs as well. By the early evening the sun was back out and stronger than ever so we made the most of some time to photograph the couple alone.

As the first dance neared I was asked to take a very special photo - the wedding rings of the bride, her mother and grandmother, and I know the three generations will cherish it for years to come. The evening party got into full swing so I headed off leaving them to dance the night away.

Congratulations Aaron & Charlotte, it was a spectacular day xx
