After toying with the idea of mini sessions for the last few years, I am so glad I finally launched them this year. Autumn has always been one of my favourite times of the year to capture as the colours are just out of this world. I always make a point of photographing my own two little ones around this time, and after the year we've had, it made perfect sense to launch them to other families this season too.
I was thrilled to have such good interest after I'd first promoted the mini sessions, but unfortunately the combination of the weather and then the firebreak lockdown cast a shadow of doubt over whether they would be able to go ahead. Thankfully after lots of rescheduling we finally managed to get a (mostly) dry weekend and headed to a local parkland to play in the leaves. Being a Cwmbran family photographer means that planning flexibly is a must, and I'm so grateful to have such understanding clients that were more than happy to work around me so that we could achieve these lovely images together.
A mini shoot is just a quick snapshot of what a full shot will be like. It's great for couples and especially families or children who often lose interest quickly as they are done within fifteen minutes. The shoots may be small, but they are mighty too as you will see from some of the images captured below.
Due to the fantastic interest, I will hopefully be able to hold some more mini sessions in the Spring. Spaces will be very limited so make sure you're signed up to my newsletter (at the bottom of my homepage) to be the first to hear when they're launched!
