Celene & Steven are one of the loveliest couples I have had the privilege of photographing. They are truly special and I am so pleased their day completely reflected them and what is important to them. I was thrilled to photograph such a colourful and vibrant wedding. Their African theme, a nod to the incredible safari honeymoon they have planned, was executed perfectly.
We went for a drive up to Oxwich Castle for some photos, a place that was frequented by Celene in her childhood. The pair were so at ease with each other, with made for some really natural images.
Sadly the day was bittersweet as Celene's father is no longer with us, though he definitely showed his presence when a striking rainbow appeared over Three Cliffs Bay, his resting place, as well as location of our fabulous engagement shoot last year. Is there anything more perfectly symbolic than that?
The evening party was fantastic fun and even a power cut during the well choreographed first dance didn't dampen spirits. A perfect celebration of love, I'm sure Celene and Steve will have a very long and happy marriage together.
