Not many people get to celebrate their wedding twice, but that's exactly what Ceri & Russell did, (no) thanks to Covid! They had a fabulous wedding last April (which you can see here) but unfortunately they weren't allowed to invite all their nearest and dearest, so they had another wedding day which was even bigger and better than the first.
Pencoed House Estate once again provided the stunning backdrop for the occasion. It is a beautiful venue in the heart of the South Wales countryside, with sweeping views of the venue down the long driveway. Just a short drive from Cardiff's city centre, it has an extremely private feel to it, adding to the exclusivity of the venue.
Since Ceri and Russell were already married, they decided to arrive at the venue together to an epic confetti tunnel, after doing an emotional first look together. While many aspects of their original wedding were kept the same, Ceri had a brand new dress and a new colour scheme. The flowers, from The Dancing Daffodil, were simply breathtaking and made even more special by the inclusion of some of Russell's proudly home grown flowers.
Every wedding is an honour to photograph, but to be asked to capture the same couple twice is truly very special indeed. Huge congratulations Dr & Mr Hunnybun!
