Leah and Matthew had a gorgeous end of Summer wedding back in September, my favourite time of year. Like me, they live in Cwmbran so they came across me on Google as a local wedding photographer.
Leah got ready at her mum's house before heading to their church wedding at St Michael's in Llantarnam. It was so lovely and personal, these two are clearly besotted with each other. Even the rain didn't dampen their spirits leaving the church. Afterwards, they celebrated at The Vale Resort Hotel with all their friends and family and the sun made it's much welcomed appearance.
The speeches were held in the gorgeous conservatory which, filled with all that natural light, was a photographer's dream. They finished just in time for us to make the most of Cardiff's fabulous golden hour. What a sunset! The couple's portraits are just filled with golden glowiness!
Awesome band Helix and The Hounds got the party off to a fantastic start, with lots of dance floor fun. My packages always state that I stay to photograph the first dance, but the truth is that I always stay a little longer, after all, everyone wants the essence of the party captured, don't they?
