So the doorstep craziness has continued, and I couldn't be more grateful to have had this wonderful and unique experience. So far I have captured over 50 families and have raised over £250 for Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, which has filled me with pride.
Over the last few months I've come to realise that a doorstep mini session is a completely different experience for everyone, and each family has their own reasons for having one. Many simply want to capture the fun and have a record of these strange times we have spent in doors. Lots of other families have welcomed new additions and haven't had the opportunity to have a normal newborn shoot, but would like a way of introducing their little one to the world (and wow, what an honour it is to capture that!). I've turned up as a planned surprise, birthday milestones and even to capture a lady with her horse! Now that lockdown is easing, it gives much greater possibilities with gardens and even local parklands. There will soon be no demand for these kinds of sessions (and I couldn't be happier about that as it means normality gradually resuming). But I am so grateful to each and every person that has shown my little businesss their support over the last two months.
Thank you, Laura xx
