Amanda and Martin booked in for an engagement shoot ahead of their summer wedding at the beautiful Cwrt Bleddyn hotel & Spa in Usk. As always, I am happy to give suggestions with locations but am open to new ideas. Amanda suggested we go to Pontypool Park as it is somewhere the family go together. The couple brought along their two boys, Tyler and Harley so that they could make the most of some precious family time and get some lovely photos at the end of it too.
I arrived at the park, which was busy after the popular Parkrun that had just finished and took them to a quieter area where we could get some privacy. The sun shone brightly but the wooded trees made for perfect shadow.
Despite the children being present, Amanda and Martin were comfortable with each other and managed to try out some wedding poses we will go through on their wedding day. Even though he was nervous at first, Martin relaxed when he realised that he couldn't get it wrong, and all he needed to do was show how in love he was with his beautiful soon-to-be wife.
The boys had fun playing by the pond and were great at posing for the camera, they are going to make very handsome page boys for their mum and dad's wedding.
