Katy and Jamie are a delightful young couple and I thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon together in preparation for their wedding at Usk Castle in a few weeks. We started with a meeting going through the order of their day, the kind of photos they wanted and the things that were important to them. We then went into Pontypool Park for a quick few photos over in the bandstand, which held sentimental value to them as they are both such big instrumental players having met through Gwent Music.
They then took me up to Folly Tower where they gazed across the different parts of Torfaen. Jamie loved showing Katy all of where he had grown up and where all his areas were. This couple were a joy to photograph, they didn't stop talking and interacting throughout the whole shoot. We had a lot of fun and despite the threatening clouds we managed to dodge the rain until the last 5 minutes.
Hearing about all the little details of their wedding, I cannot wait to be part of it. This couple are so natural, open and honest and it genuinely is a pleasure to be in their company.
