One of my favourite and most sentimental places, Castell Coch is just the perfect setting for an engagement session. Hidden in the welsh mountains, you will often see it peeking out from the hills while driving along the M4 or A470. A short drive through the quaint village of Tongwynlais will take you up the path through the trees where the unmistakable drawbridge will greet you.
The castle is surrounded by beautiful grounds, never more so than on a crisp Autumn day where the colours were soft, on the verge of becoming wintery. A pre wedding photo shoot is such a good way of getting to know one another before the big day. Allyson and Rhys became more relaxed as the time went on and I can't tell you how much it helped on their wedding day. See their gorgeous Woodhouse Barn wedding here.
